Leaders in Disaster Recovery for Network, Security & Storage Devices

Restorepoint is the leading solution for centralising configuration backup of complex multi-vendor network, security and storage devices, enabling businesses to automate processes, meet PCI, ISO27001/2, and ITIL or FCAPS compliance.

First released by TADASoft in 2007, Restorepoint is now used by companies around the world in multiple sectors including Finance, Legal, Government, Health and Emergency Services. Deployed in some of the most demanding network environments, Restorepoint is unrivalled in its support for complex device types from over 35 Vendors including Check Point, Cisco, F5, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Aruba, Blue Coat, and Brocade.

Restorepoint was conceived by founder Riccardo Valente, a networking and security veteran. While working at a security service provider, one of his priorities was maintaining, securing and documenting the configurations of multiple customers' network and security infrastructures for change management, compliance and disaster recovery purposes. At that time, there was no reliable or automated way in which he could gather the necessary information, which meant manually connecting to each network device - a time-consuming, repetitive and error-prone process. The challenge was compounded by the fact that customer networks are made up of different components from several different vendors, which required the involvement of other support team members who were sufficiently trained to support the different vendor technologies.

Later as the Technical Director of a UK-based network security reseller where he was and responsible for consultancy and support operations, Riccardo's previous experience and ideas about developing a simplified Network Configuration and Change Management platform developed further. Working closely with customers he witnessed first hand many costly Disaster Recovery situations and the challenges customers faced whilst attempting to recover from network outages when their was no recent backup of the network or security device that had caused the outage. What began as a simple idea 10 years ago has now been translated into the most comprehensive but easy to use platform for automating the backup and recovery of complex multi-vendor network, security, and storage devices. Within two years of it's release, in 2009 it had won awards from SC Magazine and at Storage Expo and is depended upon by many well known customers.

Now rebranded as Restorepoint, our overall mission remains the same - to help organisations simplify administration, automate processes, reduce costs and remain the leaders in disaster recovery and configuration management for multi-vendor network, security and storage devices.
